HARVARD FARM

Organic Regenerative Food Fibre

ABOUT US

We came to Harvard on the longest day of 2023. The grass quality was poor and there were many patches of bare and compacted earth. Our aim has been to bring biodiversity back to the farm and to improve soil health by harnessing the synergies between different natural elements and our livestock. We hope that through this Harvard Farm will become a more enriched landscape that shows the possibilities, and ups and downs, of farming with nature.

We see ourselves as part of the shift to regenerative farming: we mob-graze our sheep and keep soil disturbance to a minimum. We promote diverse vegetation in our fields and hedgerows, and to date have planted more than 4000 trees and over 750m of new native hedgerow. By improving soil health and infiltration we hope to make the farm more resilient to climate change...
